Default Necro 15k Scar Pattern

I have a black necro, and to my horror (after buying the chest pattern for a total of 29k) I realize you CANT dye it silver.
Well you can, but the problem is that it doesnt really turn silver... it stays black with silverish paint squirts here and there - really looks like crap.

So my suggestion is - dye it silver, it turns silver (or white - would be even better)!

Anyone have any problem with this suggestion?
